| Chiropractic is scientifically based on
the fact that the human body is able to self-regulate, self-heal. These
important functions are controlled by the nervous system which is made
up of the brain, spinal chord and all the nerves of the body.
The vulnerable tissues of the nervous system are
protected by the hard bones of the skeleton. The solid skull protects
the brain. The mobile bones of the spine protect the delicate
communication pathways of the spinal chord and nerves as they exit the
spinal chord. If the nervous system is impaired it can cause pain,
discomfort or malfunction of the organs and tissues throughout the body. |

| Chiropractic is the science of locating
areas of nervous system compromise, adjusting the specific areas to
reduce the impact to the nervous system thus helping to restore the
body's ability to heal itself . THERE ARE NO DRUGS INVOLVED AND NO
SURGERY. Depending on the healing ability of
the patient, results can vary from a few short days or weeks to some
months. Some patients feel better at the end of a treatment. However,
it is imperative that whatever the improvement it must be consolidated
by follow up treatments as each treatment builds on the last.
